500 youth converged in Cleveland, OH for Midwest Power Shift, October 2011. The conference, planned and facilitated by youth, featured dynamic workshops on climate leadership, activism, and resources, keynote speakers including David Orr, Lois Gibbs, Phil Radford and Rev. David Bullock, and a non-violent direct action in opposition to the proposed Keystone XL pipeline.
