A world renowned expert on climate change at the world's poles is speaking in Bozeman Wednesday night.
Arctic explorer Will Steger speaks at the Museum of the Rockies at 7 p.m. The talk is free to the public.
Steger says he has seen the devastation of climate change first hand. He has studied and travelled around the poles for 40 years.
Steger met with local business owners Wednesday to speak about the potential for growth in Montana's clean energy industry.

"Montana has one of the best wind resources in the country, one of the best in the world. And already we only get four percent of our energy from wind, so far. And we already employ more people in the wind energy than we do in coal," Steger said.
But the Montana Policy Institute is releasing a study Thursday, looking into how current climate change legislation working its way through congress could negatively affect the state's economy.
"It looks at how many jobs would be created under that regime, green jobs, and it looks at how many would be created under that regime, green job. Then it looks at how many would be lost because of it and that number comes out to about 6,000 of lost jobs," Montana Policy Institute CEO Carl Graham said.
