WSF Partners with British Council We are now the lead partner for the British Council Climate Generation Program in the Midwestern U.S.
Minnesota Grant Award The Will Steger Foundation was recently awarded funding from the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund as recommended by Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources to begin a project entitled, Engaging Students in Environmental Stewardship through Adventure Learning.
Public Forum - Aug. 11th: The Climate Misinformation Campaign that Confused America Featuring special Guest, Dr. Naomi Oreskes, author of the recently published Merchants of Doubt: How a Handful of Scientists Obscured the Truth on Issues from Tobacco Smoke to Global Warming with Erik M. Conway.
Alaska Eyewitness to Climate Change Tour With support from Clean Energy Works and several Alaska-based organizations, Will's Eyewitness message hit the road with a tour of Alaska's major metropolitan centers.
Expedition Photo Cards - NEW! The Will Steger Foundation has created a set of 10 dramatic photo cards to capture Will Steger's historical expeditions. Photos also showcase Will Steger Foundation's 2007 and 2008 Arctic expeditions to Baffin and Ellesmere Island.

The 5th annual Summer Institute for Climate Change Education on Thursday August 12th, 8:30-4:30 pm at the University of Minnesota Continuing Education & Conference Center. Featuring renowned climate science historian and author Dr. Naomi Oreskes, and Minnesota's own climatologist Dr. Mark Seeley.

This year we will look back on our last five years of climate change education outreach and curriculum development and take time to “Go Back to the Basics.”
