Dec/10/2009 3:00-5:45 p.m. Bella Center, COP-15 U.S. Center, exact location TBA (webinar) NOAA & EPA Side Event: Climate Change, Wildlife and Wildlands Education Hosts: Victoria Arthur, USDA; Peg Steffen, NOAA; Moderator: Bruce Moravchik, NOAA; Other presenters: U.S. students from Clermont Elementary School, Paul Public Charter School, Thurgood Marshall Academy Elementary and middle school students from the United States The United States Global Change Research Program has created the Climate Change Wildlife and Wildlands toolkit for educators. Students will give presentations based on classroom work they have done with this toolkit and how they have taken action on climate change. We will share our experiences with them. WSF delegates will give a 5 minute overview of their participation in the COP-15 conference and then present for 10 minutes about the Expedition and what they've been doing to help slow climate change. By Dec. 4 delegates must submit questions they would like to ask the U.S. students.

Dec/Dec/2009 11 a.m. - noon Konges Nytorv Square (on the boat nearby) Event with Polar Conservation Organisation NA Young activists, some green business representatives "Eyewitness to Global Warming" presentation with an awareness raising focus. The bus only seats 8 people, but the presentation will be recorded and broadcasted at their boat throughout the following week.

Dec/16/2009 4-6 p.m. Yellow Room at the Klimaforum Why a Midwest Youth DelegationNA School of Environmental Studies delegation, possibly other Midwest youth Whoever we invite, Klimaforum participants This will be a workshop that we run at Klimaforum. We can use the time as we like. It may be a good time to bring together all Midwest youth we know of. Or we could invite a delegation from another country to compare strategies.
