MN350 Moving Planet will begin at 2:00pm on September 24, 2011 on the State Capitol lawn.

Picture this: you are standing in front of the MN State Capitol. From 2 to 3 you enjoy a festival where dozens of organizations will share resources and activities to help you live a more sustainable life. You are listening to music, the sun is shining. It is now 3:00. From the north, hundreds of bikers round the corner and stream onto the capitol grounds. From the south an interfaith procession complete with puppets... Behind you the MN Kite Flyers... All coming together to send a strong message: we need bold action on climate change. And in Minnesota, we need to protect our clean energy foundation we started in 2007.

Moving Planet will be a waste-free event and will feature speakers from policy makers and faith community leaders to local heroes and youth, music by Alicia Wiley, the New Primitives and more.
